I am an educator and leader. I am dedicated to:

• engaging young people and adults with authentic, meaningful opportunities to learn and lead.

• providing social and emotional support inside and outside of the classroom.

• creating inclusive spaces that acknowledge and honor a spectrum of human experiences.

• championing an organizational climate dedicated to diversity, inclusion, justice, and equity.

• partnering with agencies, organizations, families, and communities in youth advocacy.

I am a writer. I have used my love of writing to:

• create marketing campaigns, blog and social media posts, and newsletters.

• develop training materials, including agendas, slides, templates, and workbooks.

• write advertorials and promotional materials.

• make stellar bulleted lists.

I am a human. It’s true! I’m a real person who:

• lives in Detroit and Traverse City, Michigan with my partner, Meagan.

• has two cats, Rainbow and Frankie, who make sure I wake up early every day.

• practices yoga and uses the Peloton app with my non-Peloton bike.

• has kept a sourdough starter alive for many years.
